Nothing ever felt rushed or staged - instead, everything felt authentic, cozy, and full of love. The final photos Heather sent us took our breath away. She has an incredible eye for detail and a natural ability to capture the sweetest impressions. I also learned some helpful tips to help my baby sleep. "Where your family's story becomes art"
"As first-time parents, we were a little overwhelmed and honestly running on very little sleep - but from the moment we walked into Heather's studio, we felt completely at ease. Heather was so patient and gentle with our baby boy, following his cues and never rushing the process. What stood out the most was how she made us feel. She saw us - not as new parents trying to figure it out - but as a family just beginning."
"Welcoming our baby girl into the world was such a joy, and one that deserves to be remembered forever! Heather's studio is warm and inviting, to include a comfortable temperature for baby. The session was thoughtfully designed to capture baby's first few days. Heather's patient and baby-led approach made us feel right at ease."

"timeless photography for life's most tender beginnings"
"I highly recommend Heather for your newborn photos. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so comfortable. As a new mom, I was a bit nervous about the session, but Heather was incredibly patient and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She was patient, gentle, and very accommodating, as my baby needed multiple feeding breaks. The photos she captured were magical-every moment felt genuine. If you are looking for someone who is not only a talented photographer but also calm, caring, and truly understands how to work with newborns and their parents, look no further! We are beyond thrilled with the memories she created for us."

`"We had the most incredible experience with Heather for our baby boy's newborn session. From the moment we walked into the studio, we felt so welcomed and completely at ease. I was thoroughly impressed with her ability to keep our son asleep.
Watching her work was amazing--she knew exactly how to pose him, and he looked so relaxed during the session.
Her studio was beautiful, warm, and perfectly arranged for the session. She even offered us coffee and water. She did such a good job that I almost feel asleep myself!
My husband and I feel in love with the photos Heather took. She truly has a gift for newborn photography."

A. It's best to book your newborn session during your second and third trimester to ensure availability. We'll reserve your due date on the calendar, and once your baby arrives, we'll set the exact date for your session?
A: No worries at all!! I only book a limited number of newborn sessions to allow for flexibility. We'll adjust the session date based on your baby's actual arrival.
A. The ideal time for a newborn session is between 5-14 days of birth. During this window, babies are sleepier and more likely to curl into those sweet, womb-like poses. Newborns also tend to milk drunk and are easier to position. However, beautiful images can still be captured beyond this timeframe - just let me know your baby's age, and we'll plan accordingly.
A: Newborn sessions last 3 hours, but depends on baby and whether family members will also participate in the session. It also accounts for plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing without feeling rushed.
A: I have an array of clothing for boys and girls in various colors and designs. I also have accessories such as bonnets, hats, headbands, blankets, lovies, etc.
A: Almost all my sessions are in studio, which is fully equiped with professional lighting, props, bottle warmer, and pacifier sanitizer. My studio is a cozy space for parnts to relax. I am happy to do an in-home session if that is preferred but at a different cost to account for transportation and packing.
A: Just bring your baby, extra diapers, bottles (if using) and a pacifier if your baby takes one. I provide all the wraps, blanets, outfits, etc. If there is a special item or you have outfits you prefer, feel free to bring as well.
A: That's completely normal (they are in a different environment and some babies can sense this). I work with baby's needs and pace. With years of experience and a clam, gentle approach, I'll take my time to soothe and settle your baby to ensure beautiful, relaxed images.
A: Yes, the only collection that does not include parents/family members is the petite collection. All other collections include the family.
A: A $300 sitting fee us due at time of booking the photography session and paid via credit card using square or Paypal. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the Photography session. To Book, click HERE!
A: ABSOLUTELY!! I would though highly recommend using a quality print lab to ensure the colors, sharpness, and overall finish truly reflects the quality of the work. I am a big fan of Miller's, Bay Photo, and Nation's Lab. Places like Walmart or CVS often use lower-grade printers and paper, which can result in dull colors, poor contrast, and shorter lifespan of the prints. A professional lab will give you the rich, true-to-life results your photos deserve.
A: I am in the process of working with Miller's to produce products for my clients. In the meantime, my pricing page goes over the cost of a variety of photo packages.
A: Your private online gallery with hand-edited images will be delivered via email within a three week timeframe. You will be provided a secure pin to download the digital images. Your gallery will only be available for 30 days from the time of delivery. If at a later date you decide you want additional images, I hold the digital files for 6 months after the photo session, so it is possible for you to request additional digital images for an additional fee.
A: No. The editing I do is part of my artistic style and therefore I do not offer unedited files, as is the case with all respected professional photographers.
