Hello, I’m Heather Nicole!
There is absolutely nothing like a sweet new little human. The way they smell and sound, and their itty bitty little features are all so wonderful. Although its been 21years since I had my first child, I vividly remember wanting to capture all 6lbs of him without all those crazy props and over the top poses. The more classic look was what I wanted and that is what I now deliver in my work. The more natural, simple posing with softer colors and earthy tones so the focus is on your little one!
These are the photos you will look back on….I’ve been there and remember how those first few days and weeks are with a newborn and how incredible, exhausting, and so, so fleeting it was. That’s why I offer a warm and inviting studio right outside Los Angeles, California in Redondo Beach to create memorable keepsakes you can hold on to forever. Let’s document the precious early moments of your newborn’s arrival and beyond.

CAPTURING TINY MOMENTS—A Simple Process…I PROMISE!
Stress-free, smooth, and effortless. That is what it will be like working with me. From the beginning of the inquiry to the delivery of your gallery, I am committed to staying connected with you every step of the way. I will work with you to ensure a delivery full of beautiful, timeless images of your new bundle of joy. Once you book a session, you will receive a questionnaire from me along with a “prepare for your session” guide. Once you’ve signed the contract, provided your questionnaire and paid the sitting fee, your only job will be to arrive at the studio with baby in hand.
Step 1: The Big Day is Here, Congratulations!
While we will have penciled in a date for the session, we know how unpredictable delivery can be so as soon as baby arrives, please reach out and let me know. If baby arrives later than the scheduled photo session date, just let me know so we can reschedule. Many parents send me a text or an email when labor begins! Now the fun begins…..typically a newborn photoshoot is between 5-14 days old.
Step 2: Photoshoot day…Smile!
Although you have likely already read the prep guide I sent when you booked the session, I encourage you to look at it for any extra tips. You’ll arrive at my studio (which is warmed and prepared) for those ten little fingers and ten little toes. Once you and your family are inside, I will essentially take over. I will walk you through the session flow, show you where the restroom is located (with a changing table), and then at that point, you’ll settle in and relax while I capture your baby’s first moments.
Step 3: Your Photo Proofs are Ready!
Within a 2-3 week window from the time of the photo session, you will receive an email with a link to your personal online photo gallery. The gallery will contain a variety of the very best images of your baby, and now it’s time to view the gallery of beautiful photos. You’ll have the opportunity to watch a slideshow of each photo and then you’ll have the opportunity to select which images you want to purchase. You’ll have plenty to choose from and I promise you it’ll not be an easy job!
Step 4: Final Gallery to ENJOY!
Once you’ve made your selection, I will make any final touches and deliver the images in an online gallery ready for you to download, share and treasure for years and years.
