Studio Located in Redondo Beach
Taking family photos is a great way to capture special moments and keep memories forever. Kids grow up fast, and life changes quickly - photos help freeze time so you can look back and remember how things were. No matter where around LA, I can be there for you.
Think of it as a little time capsule of your story......
Too often photos stay on our phones or computers and rarely make it to the walls where they belong. Life gets busy-we've all been there. That's why I'm passionate about helping families turn their memories into printed art they can enjoy every day.

"We had a great experience with Heather! She was so patient and accommodating to our young children (newborn, 1.5,3). She helped them feel involved and had fun activities to keep them engaged. We love the pictures we received. Her studio provided a welcoming and intimate environment where everyone felt at home and comfortable in front of the camera. Would recommend Heather to anyone looking for quality newborn or family pictures."
"We absolutely loved our family session and the photos turned out wonderfully. Heather was able to capture several photos of my son smiling - which makes us happy. Her studio was cozy and she helped us with different poses for some great family photos. We 100% recommend Heather and her work!

Family photos are more than just pictures......
They are visual reminders of love, connection, and togetherness. In a world that moves so quickly, family photos gives us a way to pause and hold onto what truly matters.
They tell your story......
From the chaos of life with toddlers to the quiet joy of a growing belly, every family has a beautiful, one-of-a-kind story. Family photography captures that story in a way words never could - through gentle smiles and looks, silly jokes and giggles, your family's essence is documented.
They capture what changes too quickly......
Children grow in the blink of an eye. The baby who fits in your arms today will be driving before you know it. Family photos freeze those fleeting moments - tiny hands curled around yours, missing front teeth, the way they fit perfectly in your lap. Family photos let you relive what time tries to erase.
Reach out to begin the conversation and I''ll answer all your questions, guide you through the process and share any tips I have for the session. Feel free to fill out the contact form and I'll be sure to get back to you promptly. Don't forget to leave your contact details so I can get back in touch with you.
I hope I was able to answer all your questions, you like what you've seen, and ready to book a session.
Once you've booked a session, you'll receive a "Getting to Know You" questionnaire so I can learn more about you & your family. This will help us plan the perfect session and get the photos you dreamed of. I encourage you to look at the blog posts on "What to Wear" to help with color schemes and ideas on outfits.
I will share some tips to prepare you for the photoshoot. I'll stay in touch till the day of the shoot and if you have questions before the big day, do not hesitant to reach out.
It's time to relax and have fun! You'll arrive in the studio and I'll walk you through how the session will go. There will be no rush and plenty of time to capture photographs in different outfits.
For newborn sessions, plan for 2-2.5 hours and for maternity and family photos, plan for sessions to last roughly 2 hours. Babies can be unpredictable so you will see that I go with the baby's pace. If the baby is fussy, no need to worry. I've seen my fair share of fussiness and I always manage to capture good shots.
Once I walk you through he flow of the photo session, I will show you to the various clothing and photo props for baby and for those maternity shoots.
3 weeks after the photography session, you will receive a personal online gallery that will allow you to view the photos in a slideshow from the comfort of your home. From there, you'll have the opportunity to select the photos you want. Don't worry if you decide to purchase more photos than the original purchased package. You may purchase additional images at a separate cost.
After choosing the collection of images, you'll have access to the gallery to download your photos. It's That Simple!

"I highly recommend Heather for your newborn photos. From the moment we arrived, she made both me and my two-week-old baby feel so comfortable. As a new mom, I was a bit nervous about the session, but Heather was incredibly patient and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She took the time to make sure we were both comfortable, even accommodating multiple feeding breaks without hesitation. The photos she captured were magical-every moment feels so genuine. If you are looking for someone who is not only a talented photographer but also kind, patient and truly understands how to work with newborns and their parents, look no further! We are beyond thrilled with the memories she created for us."

A. It's always a good idea to book your session a few weeks in advance, especially if you have a specific date in mind. This will allow for plenty of time to plan outfits, discuss your vision, and ensure availability.
A: The session will last an hour, give or take. This all depends on the number of family members, ages, and the different variations of poses.
A: Simple and coordinated is best. Neutral tones, soft colors, and minimal patterns work beautifully in a studio session. Avoid logos and overly bold prints.
A: Yes, if you'd like a second outfit change, feel free to bring one - especially if you are going for a casual and dfressy look. I am happy to help guide you on your clothing choices.
A: No worry at all - kids will be kids. I take a relaxed, playful approach and give little ones time to warm up. Some of the most heartwarming images come from those in-between moments. I've got lots of tricks to bring out those smiles.
A: A $200 sitting fee us due at time of booking the photography session and paid via credit card using square or Paypal. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the Photography session. To Book, click HERE!
A: ABSOLUTELY!! I would though highly recommend using a quality print lab to ensure the colors, sharpness, and overall finish truly reflects the quality of the work. I am a big fan of Miller's, Bay Photo, and Nation's Lab. Places like Walmart or CVS often use lower-grade printers and paper, which can result in dull colors, poor contrast, and shorter lifespan of the prints. A professional lab will give you the rich, true-to-life results your photos deserve.
A: I am in the process of working with Miller's to produce products for my clients. In the meantime, my pricing page goes over the cost of a variety of photo packages.
A: Your private online gallery with hand-edited images will be delivered via email within a three week timeframe. You will be provided a secure pin to download the digital images. Your gallery will only be available for 30 days from the time of delivery. If at a later date you decide you want additional images, I hold the digital files for 6 months after the photo session, so it is possible for you to request additional digital images for a fee of $10/each.
A: No. The editing I do is part of my artistic style and therefore I do not offer unedited files, as is the case with all respected professional photographers.
