What is Modern Studio Photography?

When one thinks of studio portraits, Sears or JCPenney probably comes to mind. Years ago, if you  wanted a family portrait, that’s where it happened.  

Styles have changed over time and now families are looking for more of a lifestyle look.  In my studio, you won’t get that “Say Cheese” phrase.  I have ALWAYS loved the look of studio photography, and my goal is to create contemporary, classic artwork that captures the authentic YOU. 

I use studio lighting that creates a soft-natural look and guide you through poses that will never make you look unnatural or forced.  With the use of solid backdrops, there is a subtle contrast but the attention is all on YOU!

Bottom line…I keep things simple!
