A little bit about me:

Hello! I’m Heather, a wife, a mom, dog lover, traveler, storyteller, and many of my clients call me the baby whisperer.  I’m a newborn, child, milestone and family photographer living in Southern California with my husband. Although I grew up on the east coast, I am a Cali girl, through and through.  You’ll find me on the beach soaking up some vitamin D with sand between my toes on days I am not photographing clients. My photography passion began in 2002 as I was traveling the world but after the birth of my son, I knew then it was motherhood that I wanted to capture.  It may seem like forever, but in a blink of an eye, those childhood years vanish.  As a mom of two college kids, I know all too well how quickly time passes and children grow.  I also understand the busyness of motherhood and the scarcity of a minute.  

It’s all about the moments:

I believe it’s so important to be able to give you quality photos so that your family can look back and remember those special times captured. I love the beauty of simplicity when documenting memories.  For me, it’s all about capturing authentic emotions and natural poses. My style isn’t just,”smile for the camera” but it’s beyond that.  I’ll walk you through some guided poses but the interactions will be all you and completely genuine. I absolutely love whites, neutral colors, and beautiful textures and the way they provide your photos that timeless fine art style.
