About the Local Photographer:

I am the owner of the studio and also a wife, a mother of two grown children, and a dog lover.  I’m originally from the East Coast – a Maryland girl through and through, and moved to California a few years ago for a change of pace and scenery.  When I’m not in my studio, you’ll find me on the beach soaking up the sun or in the garden.  My love for photography started in my youth years and I would take pictures of anyone who would let me.  While I dabbled in all types of photography, I was always drawn to portraits.  After I had my own children and enjoyed capturing all the milestones and once they left home, I was determined to turn my passion into something more.  Newborn and maternity photography is not just a job; it’s the deep passion rooted in storytelling, emotion, and connection.  

About the Studio:

I officially opened my studio photography business in September 2024 after shooting outdoors for many years.  Although beach family portraits are always fun, my passion and inspiration was to create a room where love and beauty intertwines. I am thrilled to have remodeled a basement room into a cozy photography studio, perfect for capturing those special moments.  The studio has a separate entrance with a garden patio in the back. Once inside and settled, I will walk you through my process and you’ll never be left wondering what next. While you sit, relax and sip on coffee or enjoy a cold beverage, I will handle the rest.

I aim to create a warm and relaxing environment.  With a focus on newborn and motherhood photography, I believe in clean, classic imagery that will capture moments into timeless keepsakes. Between natural poses and props, I’ve designed my studio sessions to display your photos with a finished and professional look. I have a display of beautiful outfits for baby and did I mention the headbands, hats, bonnets, and small stuffed animals for that personal touch.
